Baritone, Keith Jurosko ![]() KEITH JUROSKO. The versatile singer/actor has appeared in a wide variety of roles in opera,operetta, musical comedy and legitimate theatre. The 2003/04 season, marks his twenty-fifth anniversary as principal artist with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, where he has sung nearly 700 performances in more than 20 roles. Mr. Jurosko is also one of the original members of the internationally acclaimed opera parody troupe La Gran Scena, whose zany yet brilliant spoofs of grand opera and it's divas & divos have thrilled & tickled audiences all over the globe. Much in demand as a Gilbert & Sullivan specialist, Mr.Jurosko has made guest appearances with, among others, Virginia Opera, Mobile Opera, Augusta Opera, Chautuauqua Opera, Opera Delaware, Newberry (S.C.) Opera, Whitewater Opera, The Sorg Opera, Goldcoast Opera, Mississippi Opera and with Richard Conrad at the Boston Academy of Music. In addition to his many G&S portrayals, he has sung leading roles in Fledermaus, Merry Widow, La Battaglia di Legnano, Tosca, Pagliacci and L'Italiana in Algeri - as well as Camelot, Most Happy Fella, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, the Desert Song, Kiss Me Kate, Of Thee I Sing and Music in the Air. His non-musical credits include Lend Me a Tenor, The Odd Couple, The Dining Room, Private Lives, Present Laughter, Arsenic & Old Lace, Goldoni's Servant of Two Masters and Shaw's rarely performed Fanny's First Play.
