Mezzo-soprano, Laurie Lemley Mezzo-soprano Laurie Lemley's operatic credits include: Julia Child (Cambridge Opera, Bon Appetit!), Third Lady (Maine Grand Opera, The Magic Flute), Witch (MGO, Hansel and Gretel), Mercedes (Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra, Carmen), Duchess of Plaza Toro (Boston Academy of Music, The Gondoliers), mezzo soloist (BAM, Cask of Amontillado), Pitti Sing (BAM, The Mikado), Wowkle (BAM, La fanciulla del West), Miss Foster (BAM, Lady in the Dark), Hebe (BAM, HMS Pinafore), and Ruth (Actors' Theater of Maine, The Pirates of Penzance). Ms. Lemley has appeared as a soloist with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Bowdoin Summer Music Festival, Gamper Festival, Midcoast Symphony Orchestra, Portland Choral Art Society, Fine Arts Chorale of Weymouth, and Downeast Singers of Maine, and presented a selection of arias for the City of Boston's 2001 Spring Jubilee.
