Tenor, Daniel Lockwood ![]() Tenor Daniel Lockwood has been recognized for the classiness and beauty of his singing and the ease and naturalness of his acting, bringing highly meaningful performances to both lead and character tenor roles in a variety of repertoire. As a young tenor on the professional operatic stage, he appeared with Richard Conrad's Boston Academy of Music in both lead and character roles in verismo and contemporary opera, receiving high acclaim for his work. He appeared as Luiz in The Gondoliers in 2000 and as Nanki-Poo in The Mikado in 2001 with Boston Academy of Music. He also performed the role of Ralph Rackstraw in H.M.S. Pinafore with the Fiddlehead Theatre Company in 2001. This year, he appeared as Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance and First Yeoman in Yeoman of the Guard with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players. An ideal concert soloist as well, he has sung in concert works such as Mozart's Requiem and Coronation masses, Kodaly's Te Deum, Mendelssohn's Die Erste Walpurgisnacht and Schubert's Mass No. 6 in E flat major.
