Soprano, Jenny Lynd Robinson Jenny Lynd Robinson, a native of Belfast Maine and now living in the Portland area has performed extensively the Southern Maine. She has performed as soprano soloist with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, the Oratorio Chorale, the Chorale Art Society, the Atlantic Chamber Orchestra, Portland Community Chorus, Lincoln Arts Festival Chorus and also the Portland Opera Reperatory Theatre Chorus. Jenny was a 1997 recipient of the Lillian Nordica Award and the Viola Vestal award given by the University of Colorado in Boulder. She has received first place awards from the Boston and Maine divisions of NATS vocal competition, most recently receiving first place at Boston NATS in division 4, February 2003. She is a 1998 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Vocal performance and is currently attending USM to receive her degree in music education. Jenny plans to teach general music after receiving her degree and to continue singing in Southern Maine. Back to The Artists Page
